Learn about the bloody countess Bathory and her mysterious medieval Čachtice castle ruin. A female dracula or a victim of masculine power struggle? On more realistic note, you will be fascinated by life of Milan Rastislav Štefánik, a real WWI hero for Slovaks, who was born in this region and travelled all around the globe.
Journey back to Bratislava by train

After a day trip full of unexpected places, stories, tastes and slow scenic ride aboard a working class Volkswagen T3 Doka (Doppel Kabine) 6-seater, you will take a train back to Bratislava, with arrival at around 6pm. Back in the city, with memories and touch of countryside still lively!

Picnic time! Taste and digest local (Czecho)Slovak snacks, sweets and beverages as a real working class hero / farmer. Grab calories from smoked cheese, codfish mayonnaise salad, communist-era bread rolls, bacon and sausages, retro sweets and wafers. Get high or low from drinking local slivovica plum brandy and home made apple cider! 🙂
