All You Wanted to Know about Authentic Slovakia but Were Afraid to Ask

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the meeting point before the tour?
Depends on you. Almost anywhere in broader city centre of Bratislava. Usually we pick you up from your accommodation or at Namestie SNP in front of  the Keiks Bakery (see map). Just specify a meeting point when booking the tour. Lets have a look on other frequently asked questions, too.

When and how do I pay for the tour?
For all the 1-day tours you pay in cash after the tour against the receipt. Sorry, we do not accept credit card payments on the day. Bank transfers and PayPal/credit card payments in advance are possible, too. For more-day tailor-made tours you pay 30% deposit in advance by PayPal or bank transfer.

How long in advance and how may I book the tour?
1-day tours should be booked until 6pm of the previous day. However, if you are lucky enough, we may be flexible to arrange a tour even on a shorter notice. For more-day tailor-made tours book at least 3 days in advance. For reservation, you use the “Request tour” button on our website. If it does not work or you are afraid of the button, send us a text message, call us, write an e-mail, or ask at your accommodation/tourist office in Bratislava.

Are there any group or other discounts?
We keep our prices as reasonable as possible. Therefore we do not offer any additional discounts apart from Bratislava City Card (available in the info centre Bratislava Tourist Board) – you get 10% off the price. All the prices apply for 1 person. There is a price difference according to number of participants. 4 and more pay less per person than 2-3 persons. Upon request, we can arrange the tour for 1 participant only, but paying double price.

May I book a tailor-made tour, too?
Yes. Contact us by e-mail and we can arrange the tour anywhere in Slovakia according to your specific preferences. By large groups we cooperate with our partner travel agency and keep the prices very reasonable.

In what languages do you offer your tours?
The tours are available in English (or sometimes in German), but we can turn into Slovak easily, too!:)
