City changes

Post-socialist Bratislava is changing its face. Forgetting the recent past, proudly promising new era for the more equal ones.

Controversial heritage

Bridge instead the cobbled streets? Of course. Desire for modernity was stronger than nostalgy. Landmark of Bratislava with question marks.

For us it was interesting and impressive to see and hear about the history of Slovakia, and everything that comes with that (also that there are almost no flowers on the streets). We enjoyed your sense of humour! Hopefully you can show much more people the authentic sights of Bratislava in the future!"

Ellen and Susan, The Netherlands, 23/02/2012

"I fell in love with Bratislava all over again. The city bathes in a special atmosphere. There are a lot of ugly or damaged buildings but learning about their history made them more to live and really appreciate them. The tour was very interesting and we got a lot of surprising details about Slovakia. It was a real pleasure to see buildings, go into places and hear historical details of Bratislava you would otherwise not get the chance to. This tour shines a very special light over the city and there is well thought about every element in the tour. Cvernovka was the real highlight of the tour. Thanks for the ride!"

"Thanks for the alternative Bratislava tour. It has been an amazing 2 hours exploring unknown and abandoned buildings, and also where the Iron Curtain took place. Travelling by a Škoda 110 through the eyes of a local definitely took the post socialist city tour to a higher level. Bryan has been such a friendly and informative guide."
